Horror / Sci-Fi
Emberath began as a concept art series — a horror sci-fi world built image by image, exploring the boundary between the human and the elemental. The short film brings those paintings into motion.
Character
-
Emberath
Emberath rises from the ashes of a forgotten world, her body aflame with a force she never asked for. Fire consumes her — not as a weapon, but as an extension of her very being. The line between flesh and flame blurs, and with it, her connection to what she once was.

Painting to cinematic
Emberath started as a set of interconnected concept paintings — each one building the world before any animation existed. Bringing those paintings into motion was the next logical step: a way to understand what it takes to carry emotion across time, not just in a single frame.
This was my first animated short, built to push the pipeline and explore what UE5 could do in a character-driven cinematic context. The concept art drove every decision — environment, lighting, mood, camera. The film exists to serve the character, not the other way around.

Emberath is an ongoing world. The concept art continues to expand beyond what made it into the short — new characters, environments, and narrative threads that belong to the same universe.
If you're working on a project that needs original world-building, character concept art, or CGI cinematic work — this is the kind of thinking I bring to it.
