The Delta Chair takes its name and inspiration from the lowercase Greek letter delta (δ)- a symbol known for its soft, looping form and association with change and transformation.
At the core of the design is a sinuous structure that blends fluid motion with architectural purpose. One side of the chair is supported by a curved metal element shaped like a delta (δ). This dynamic form doubles as both a structural support and an integrated armrest, giving the chair its name and sculptural identity.
The chair’s main body is conceived as a continuous, ribbon-like surface-flowing seamlessly from the seat to the backrest to the floor. The asymmetry and visual motion of the metal arm create a sense of lightness and movement, while maintaining structural balance.
